About Me

Monique Daranyi, Counsellor and Psychotherapist

BA(Hons) Applied Psychology, PGDip Integrative Counselling & Coaching, MBACP

I am a fully qualified and BACP registered counsellor and psychotherapist. I hold a Post Graduate Diploma (with Distinction) in Integrative Counselling and Coaching and a degree in Applied Psychology (BA Hons).

I decided to train in a unique approach that combines coaching with psychotherapy and counselling because I believe it can help people reach their fullest potential. I think it can also help get the most value from the therapeutic experience.

My passion lies in supporting people through the difficult times and helping them reconnect with their inner strength. I aim to help restore resilience and equip my clients with the resources to move towards a future that is happier, healthier and more fulfilling.

Alongside my private practice I have worked in the NHS and local community counselling services. I have a wide range of life experience and have also worked for many years in business within the creative and media industries.

I operate a diversity friendly practice and welcome clients from all backgrounds, cultures, identities, and abilities.
