Life brings its share of challenges. While we often navigate these effectively, there are times when we feel disconnected from ourselves and the inner strength we once relied on. Not knowing how to overcome our difficulties can feel isolating, making it hard to reach out - even to those closest to us.
This is where I can step in to support you. Whether you’re looking to address a specific issue or feel stuck and unsure of the cause, therapy offers a safe and compassionate space to explore, understand, and heal.
Some people enter therapy with clear goals, others feeling overwhelmed or as a last resort. Wherever you are on your journey, it’s OK. Together, we can work to help you reconnect with yourself and find a way forward that feels right for you.
Whilst I hold a particular interest in trauma and anxiety, I work with clients on a wide range of issues including:
Anxiety
While anxiety is a natural response to stress, it can become overwhelming and disruptive when it persists, affecting daily life and overall well-being.
Living with anxiety can feel exhausting and isolating. You don’t have to face this alone. I’m here to help you develop an understanding of what lies underneath the anxiety, we’ll focus on the deeper issues and also work to equip you with the tools to help manage its impact on a day-to-day basis.
Trauma
If you’ve experienced trauma—whether from a past event or an ongoing situation - its effects can be long lasting, often shaping how you feel about yourself or connect with others. You might feel that now is the time to talk about it, or perhaps you’re still navigating it in the present.
I’m here to support you. Together, we can work through your experience safely and at a pace that feels right for you.
Depression
Depression can profoundly affect how we think, feel, and engage with the world. Even when surrounded by others, it can feel isolating and difficult to fully express the depth of your distress.
I provide a safe and compassionate space where you can share your experiences without judgment. You’ll be deeply heard and understood, free to express your feelings and explore the uncertainties you’re facing.
Relationships
If your relationship is no longer working, you may feel hurt, angry, or even frightened. The person you once felt so connected to may now seem distant or incompatible, leaving you heartbroken, anxious, or unsure of what lies ahead.
Feeling alone within a relationship can be acutely painful. Longing for closeness while feeling overlooked, rejected, or even abused can be isolating and overwhelming. You don’t have to face this alone - I’m here to help you through it.
